The insidious reason Gentile was written out of history is that the Intellectual Left, the Marxist Left deliberately manipulated the political spectrum whereby they transposed, warped, Leftist crimes to the Right side of the spectrum. This is where the phrase the Fascist, and Fascist Right-winger comes from when in fact Fascism as an ideology is far Leftist, dictatorial, anti-Monarchy, anti-Church, movement. No university professor ever calls the German National Socialists of the 1930s or Mussolini's Fascist party radical Leftists. They always call them the far Right. Unlike Hitler, Benito was NOT known for his writings!This little pamphlet (basically) at its very core describes Fascism - which was moderately different from the Nazism version... but is worth about $2.00 brand new (and that is being generous). I read it in about ten minutes.

Although these quotations are a fascinating insight into the mind of one of the 20th century's most renowned dictators, the booklet itself is bare-bones to the point of being useless for practical purposes. None of these quotes are cited or attributed in any way that makes them useable or even verifiable. A total rip-off, all quotes that can be found online for free, and shame on me for not obeying the timeless warning, caveat emptor.

the book is extraordinarily disappointing. it does not seem to be professional as it has a yahoo e-mail to contact the publisher.its overly thin which makes it over priced for what you get. Like others have said, its a pamphlet. I got this book to have a copy i could mark up and not care (using it as a primary document)there is no copyright information, no date of publication, no page numbers, and its sketchy at best which makes so the book so its impossible to accurately cite. Its beyond pathetic.On top of all that, why is Hitler even on the cover. I wish i wouldn't have bought this piece of junk.i cannot recommend that anyone purchase this.

This doctrine is more than an ideology, it is a philosophy, a religion with no gods, just priorities. Hopefully more read this book, and more like it. The more educated people become, the less friction they will have. And the more understanding there will be between fascists, and non-fascists.

Worth reading to understand Mussolini's version of fascism. He clearly had a coherent vision, and an almost mystical belief in the State. I found it stimulating because he challenges so many of my own assumptions.

Know yourself, know your enemy. We all know fascism is the enemy of free people everywhere, but we should avail ourselves to their perspective, lest we fall prey to their gambits.
