Such a beautiful book! Mary Randolph Carter books are like picture books for adults. This one seems like an old scrap book of mementos. Complete with a satin ribbon bookmark. Its a great escape to just leaf through the pages but the book also includes some real nuts and bolts DIY ideas things like how to age a chair and how to make the most of a small bedroom. Perfect little nuggets!

This is a beautiful book with great photography, and I enjoyed it very much. I do have to say I would have liked more emphasis on old textiles, lace, garden items, and antique china. If you are looking for those they are not here. What is here though is a celebration of the unique charm that the patina of age brings to everyday items. The book is very nicely bound and thoughtfully written. It is an excellent counterpoint to the idea that everything has to be new and perfect to be worthwhile.

I always love this author's books even though she tends to decorate even shabbier than I do. This particular book is just a work of beauty for the coffee table, I love the cover. There is a blue opera chair inside that tears at my heart with its beauty. I love inside the covers, the way she tells a story about her family and about why she sees beauty in some of the most beastly things. It is always interesting to see how others decorate and I believe Ms. Randolph-Carter is a green decorator indeed, taking recycling of old things to a new level.

Lovely to look at and the new ideas were stunning for just about any object considered 'old'.. Decorate with large tarnished silver things.....fantastic!

If you are interested in fish life in Ohio this book is a must own. I thought I knew the majority of fish life in this state, but I was dead wrong. There is a whole world of aquatic life in our lakes, rivers and streams that I had no idea about. Also some very colorful fish. Highly recommend this book to anyone interested in natural aquatic life, especially in Ohio, but I think people in surrounding states could enjoy it as much as I did.

I found this to be quite useful when settling family estates and in my own estate planning. It also helped me escape a lawyer who wanted to do a lot of expensive plans and trusts to take care of a relatively simple need. Showed me a path that my personal lawyer could execute for me.

The book is a bit outdated, but the one I wanted was nit available until next October. So, I purchased this to help a friend so her trust (or maybe will).There are some really easy forms in the book, which will help people feel more empowered about Wills and Estates.The CD has some great stuff, and she can use all this as an outline, and educate herself while she is waiting for the new edition.

I picked this book up for 1 cent plus shipping from one of Amazon's book partners. I gloat at getting so much good information for a total of $4.00! The treatment of the need for probate is especially good, as it correctly warns you that if you die without a will, the local probate judge (through an administrator he/she names) will determine who gets what, according to state law. This book has some great photography; however, it was advertised as being something that it wasn't...enough on that subject. So, it will make a nice Christmas present...for someone else...

I was chagrined to find not one photo of any African American models in this book. I know Bruce did photograph Black men. (I have a number of his vintage photos of men of color.) In another book of Bruce's photos, American Photography of the Male Nude Vol I, there are a number of Black men included. I believe this book is still available on Amazon.

This book is beautifully printed and very well put together. The photography is sexy and sensual, it is the kind of book that you want to leave out on the coffee table for guests to see and enjoy. A definite must have for anyone who enjoys collecting male art photography books, as this one is a true collectors piece. The DVD is also campy and fun to watch with friends around. I highly recommend this book.

I was very excited to recieve this, I collect books on male nude photography and have several others on Bruce Bellas work, this in my opinion is not the best of his work, only a few of the shots are frontal nudes, and none are the "racy" shots he became famous for. So to me this was just your average beefcake collection of vintage nudes and at a this high a price I expected more. The reproduction of the shots is excellent I have to say, but as I prefer frontal nudes this was disappointing.

This book is HOT! Finally a book that does Bruce Bellas justice. Not only are the photo reproductions incredible, but the dvd is beyond sexy. I thought he photographed only in B&W and was shocked to find this book in color. Amazing. This man was a real artist... what a great eye. Some of the hottest men I have ever seen. Left me happy & horny.

Using them with my 4yr old. Perfect. Lots of cards, great price, better than brick and mortar retailers. Highly recommend to help identify letters/words/numbers.

Slightly misleading. Theread are 240 cards in this deck but probably 20 pictures repeated on all the cards. I was hoping to use it for words, letters, then numbers later...but definitely not going to work for now. They are not hard and fairly flimsy for anyone who is looking for something that will last.

Good Quality. We have only used the ABC cards but it does appear to come with a step 2 and 3 that are more complex. Son loves them. Pictures are easily recognizable.

Pulled these out asap and was suprised to learn ny kid knew more words and letters than i thought. These were exactly what I was looking for.

The intended purpose of the card is as stated, however, the cards themselves were flimsy and not durable. Too many to laminate to make it worthwhile.
